INDUSTRIAL FOOD PROCESSING PLANTS

Whether food processing plant remodels or new plant installations, Southern Fabrication Works is here to help. SFW is specialized to handle the engineering, design, fabrication, and installation of whole receiving lines from truck unloading through cutting and more. This capability includes partial plant machinery renovations or rebuilds and the installation of SFW equipment or 3rd party equipment. We also offer food processing plant remodeling services to improve production efficiency.

Other plant projects that we can assist with include: fish meal processing equipment, sanitary and industrial piping projects, silos, vacuum tanks, glycol tanks, overflow production work from other OEMs, spare/replacement parts and R&D for various special projects.

DEMOLITION AND INSTALLATION

SFW Can Help with both the demolition of existing equipment, and installation of new equipment. We specialize in the food processing industry and provide services such as performing simple small scale equipment upgrades and remodels, as well as installing complete processing lines in new plants. SFW has multiple field crews that can take a project from demolition to new construction and finally through the installation proces.

PRIVACY AND SENSITIVE INFORMATION

SFW understands the need to protect trade secrets and will not share sensitive information with our customer's competitors. Oftentimes SFW refers to a customer's competitors as Brand X when discussing the application of standard equipment or product volumes when it relates to SFW equipment. Because SFW has no ability to test production volumes on its equipment, SFW conservatively calculates theoretical values and then adjusts those ratings based on customer feedback. SFW welcomes such feedback from past customers as a sales tool to help future customers plan for their production volumes.

MELNI

Southern Fabrication Works has been involved in several projects with Melni Connectors. They have worked with us on the basic design, material sourcing and manufacturing advice for a number of our products. We have worked closely with SFW on design optimization on our current line connectors. SFW is currently building a few working prototypes for product development testing as well as product certification testing.

SFW offers a variety of design and layout capabilities with its in-house engineering department. They utilize SolidWorks software, a partner of ours, that enables equipment and layouts to be realized in 3D for customer planning and approval prior to construction. Their manufacturing capabilities include a full service machine shop, field crews and large fabrication bays. We are more than happy with our partnership with SFW and fully endorse them for your engineering and fabrication needs.
